Consumer Insights Generalist

The Consumer Insights Generalist has a broad and deep market research expertise to uncover consumer insights to help drive business growth.  This person will work closely with your stakeholders and internal team and can manage vendor partners to contribute thought leadership and gain alignment on learning objectives, then design and execute research projects, to deliver valuable consumer insights via visually interesting reporting and presentations.  This person can also help you socialize the learning throughout your organization to ensure the team internalizes and acts on the learning.

About This Role:

SIVO’s Consumer Insights Generalist has a broad and deep understanding of market research approaches, both quantitative and qualitative, to uncover consumer insights to advance your product renovation and innovation efforts, and marketing campaigns.

This person has broad experience working on both the supplier and client-side of the insights industry.  As a member of your Insights team, this person will quickly get up to speed on your business priorities, represent the voice of the consumer in cross-functional forums, and develop consumer learning plans that deliver on project objectives. 

Responsibilities of this consultant could include:

  • Collaborating with teams to define learning objectives
  • Managing the consumer learning process, from designing learning plans, coordinating research logistics, managing schedules and budgets, reporting and presenting to key decision makers
  • Working within your company network and vendor partners to creatively eliminate or avoid obstacles
  • Ensuring deliverables meet high quality standards with actionable recommendations
  • Contributing ideas via thought leadership and strategic thinking
